Pre-Black Friday sales, Retailers are capitalizing on the shopping craze early this year!
(Do you think that is a good thing for our economy or does this mean they are scared they won’t make any money this holiday season? Either way I guess we benefit from all the sales and cheaper priced items!)

Harry Potter is out – I have yet to be sucked into the frenzy, but I am sure some of you are excited!

This is only the handful that has caught my attention. Why do the weekend have to go so fast? After all the “have to’s,” and “need to’s” there isn’t much left for the “want to’s.” Such is life though! I am sure we will still have a great and productive weekend and I hope you do to. What do you have planned?

Happy Birthday to Mason!

Since he could drive at 16, Mason has always wanted a jeep. We had been a one car family for about 4 months , after the Ford Taurus (my first car) finally died. He had been researching cars and decided on a 4 door Jeep Wrangler. He certainly knows his wife and knew all the key buttons to push to convince me that this was the car for us.

4 wheel drive for driving up our hills during the winter
     4 doors: more family friendly
Back seats that lay down flat, great for hauling wedding decor

I am not a car person so I couldn't care less about what we bought, and his argument was very convincing, we moved forward and bought the Jeep. It was so satisfying to me to fulfill one of his dreams. Happy Birthday Mason!

Did I mention I have a new job?

As of Sept 22, I have been working as the Marketing Director for Reaveley Engineers + Associates. They are a Structural Engineering firm who has done many significant projects from Hospitals, to government work, to University projects, to temples. From the moment I arrived we have been super BUSY!!! This week though, I am beginning to breathe a sigh of relief as things are starting to slow down and I am catching on more. I am really excited for this change, and the opportunity to move my career forward. Yay for Reaveley!
